HyLight is seeking a software-first embedded internship to design and build the HyLighter’s onboard and ground software. You will contribute to architecture, code quality, and tooling enabling fast yet reliable flight software development.

Work on PX4-based flight software, QGroundControl integration, and hardware abstraction layers, with CI/CD discipline and hands-on embedded experience. The role offers strong learning and growth in a fast-paced startup.

Qualifications

• Final-year Master’s degree in Embedded Systems, Software Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to software architecture of embedded systems (onboard and ground).
• Develop hardware abstraction layers to decouple application logic from hardware.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and build/release tooling.
• Extend and integrate PX4-based flight software and QGroundControl.
• Enhance robustness through testing, debugging, and development.
• Participate in system architecture studies for future features and payload integration.
