HyLight is hiring a seasoned Full-Stack Engineer to build internal tools, ground station software, and cross-team automations. You’ll work with a platform team to streamline operations as the company scales, supporting mission planning, fleet tracking, and data-driven decisions.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with React/Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js or Python, and a passion for turning complex workflows into reliable software. Remote-friendly hybrid setup with base on site in France.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in CS or equivalent practical experience.
• A few years of experience shipping full-stack web apps.
• Proven end-to-end ownership of shipped features.
• Genuine interest in building internal tools used daily.

Responsabilités

• Ship internal applications for planning, fleet tracking, post-flight review, dashboards, CRM tooling.
• Own business models in code and translate operations into data models.
• Automate repetitive manual workflows with software.
• Integrate Notion, Slack, GitHub, OnShape for data flow and single source of truth.
• Tackle domain-specific problems to convert criteria into flight schedules.
• Contribute to ground station software and pilot-facing tools.
• Design and maintain APIs and services supporting frontend apps.
• Build AI-powered tools to increase team leverage.
• Own existing systems: fix bugs, refactor when needed, monitor reliability.
