Job summary

Doctolib is seeking a Director of AI Developer Experience to lead the AI Developer Experience team and own CI and Developer Experience scope, reporting to the VP Platform Engineering. You will build tooling to help AI agents and engineers test, review, and ship code with reliable feedback, while scaling monolith and satellite services and measuring developer productivity.

The role requires leading a large DevEx organisation, strong architecture judgment, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Led Developer Experience, Developer Productivity, or Build/CI organisations serving 300+ engineers.
• Deep technical credibility across CI/CD, build and test infrastructure, monorepo build graphs, caching, merge queues and flake management.
• 5+ years of experience as a manager of managers: hiring, growing and levelling engineering managers and staff-plus ICs.
• Comfortable setting your own success metrics and being held to them, with strong written communication and structured thinking.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Build the tools and workflows that allow agents to write, test, review and merge code, including evaluation, security checks and controls.
• Own testing and feedback for the monolith and satellite services, elevating the current CI setup from a CI-run team into an efficient agent-testing capability.
• Own developer productivity measurement in the context of AI DORA, autonomous change rate and complementary indicators and make it visible and actionable to feature teams.
• Lead the inner-loop experience: local and remote environments, onboarding, editor integration and sandboxing.
• Build and organise the team, developing agentic skills internally where needed, as AI adoption shifts from a temporary SWAT team to a permanent one.
• Partner with Product Engineering and Product Management to understand internal users and drive adoption.
