Job summary

Azadea Group is seeking an experienced Department Manager to supervise floor activities, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation across the department.

You will lead a team with five to seven years of retail experience, including two years in a managerial role, coordinate staff schedules, monitor stock levels, train employees, and drive up-selling and cross-selling to meet targets, while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Five to seven years of experience in Retail, or a similar role.
• Two years of managerial experience.
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and ensure staff provide timely service in line with standards.
• Ensure proper implementation of company policies and procedures.
• Control merchandising to optimize sales and maintain brand image and standards.
• Monitor stock levels, maintain inventories, and reorder merchandise to ensure availability.
• Manage department staff by setting goals, overseeing performance, and developing employees.
• Conduct daily department meetings to ensure clear communication of activities and objectives.
• Provide on-the-job training to foster development and high performance.
• Plan and prepare weekly team schedules for Multimedia as required.
• Implement up-selling and cross-selling strategies to maximize sales and hit targets.
• Conduct bi-annual performance appraisals.
