Job summary

JD.COM in Lyon, France is seeking a Process Optimization and Capacity Management professional to streamline delivery workflows, optimise route planning, and drive cost reductions across internal teams and external carriers.

You will monitor KPIs, implement risk and contingency plans, coordinate with 3PL partners, and lead cross-functional improvement initiatives during peak seasons. A BAC+5 in logistics and strong Excel/Power BI skills are required.

Qualifications

Master level (BAC+5) or above, Supply Chain / Logistics background preferred.
Good command of logistics KPIs (on-time performance, exceptions & complaint management); able to design risk-warning and emergency-response mechanisms.
Strong analytical skills; proficient in Excel / Power BI for reporting and process improvement.
Strong cross-team communication and resilience under peak-season operational pressure.

Responsibilities

Analyse full delivery workflow and develop standard operating procedures for internal teams and carriers.
Manage in-house resources and third-party carriers; build scheduling plans and optimise manpower and vehicle configuration.
Track core logistics KPIs and establish proactive risk-warning mechanisms; resolve order anomalies and customer complaints.
Set-up carrier performance assessment, conduct reviews and drive corrective-action plans; train on operational standards and compliance.
Analyse fulfilment data, identify efficiency and cost-saving opportunities, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement improvements.
Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by line manager.
