Alan is hiring for the Data Foundations team in France to build and operate the data platform used by all teams. You will own data infrastructure, enable trusted data access for analysts and AI agents, and contribute to secure, governed data practices across a rapidly expanding multi-country organization.

We value engineers who design robust tools, collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders, and excel at communicating complex data concepts in English.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data positions with impact.
• Experience building and operating production data infrastructure (Airflow, cloud data warehouse, IaC).
• Designing systems, tools or libraries used by engineers, scientists or analysts.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; strong rigor and craft.
• Curious about AI and eager to apply it thoughtfully.

• Build, maintain, and improve the Data Platform used across Alan.
• Enable data-driven decision making and accessible data for teams and AI agents.
• Strengthen security and governance around data assets.
• Define and implement standard data practices across Alan.
• Maintain and evolve core data infrastructure for international expansion.
