The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) is seeking a Data Management Supervisor to join its headquarters in Sophia Antipolis, France on a permanent contract. You will lead the Clinical Data Management Service, ensuring data quality, governance, and lifecycle management across ESC registries.

You will drive innovative data science initiatives, collaborate with international partners, and strengthen data capabilities to support ESC’s mission to improve cardiovascular care and research.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD with 6+ years in data management or related field.
• 5+ years leading international data projects.
• 2+ years line management experience.
• Proficient in data management of observational health data.
• Familiar with eCFR and CTMS solutions.
• Awareness of EHDS and data regulations.
• Experience with SNOMED, OMOP, HL7 FHIR.
• Excellent written and spoken English and French.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage priorities.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and oversee the Data Management team.
• Improve Data Management processes across registries.
• Ensure data collection, validation, standardisation, governance.
• Monitor and report activities with timelines and budgets.
• Develop innovative data management methodologies and AI-enabled approaches.
• Support data strategy alignment with EHDS.
• Lead Clinical Informatics and Data Science projects related to patient data.
