The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) is seeking an Association Manager for a permanent contract at its Sophia Antipolis headquarters in France. You will define and implement strategic direction for the groups under your responsibility, align activities with ESC priorities, and support leadership and volunteers.

This role focuses on operational excellence, strong relationship-building with internal and external partners, and promoting ESC projects.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (Bac +4/5) in Business, Administration, or Management.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in strategic, operational, and leadership roles.
• Project leadership and volunteer/team motivation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Smartsheet.
• Strategic thinking & stakeholder alignment.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making under pressure.
• Adaptability and multi‑project handling.
• Time management, planning, and organizational abilities.
• Effective team and project management.
• Outstanding relationship‑building with internal and external partners.

Responsabilités

• Define and implement the strategic direction of the groups under their responsibility, ensuring alignment with ESC priorities and governance.
• Manage the Association and oversee its activities with professionalism and ethical standards; motivate volunteers and track performance indicators.
• Uphold the ESC brand image and ethical standards; promote programs with coherence and reflect the organization’s values.
• Contribute to ESC’s development through promotion and visibility of the Association’s projects and achievements.
