Mistral AI is seeking a Research Engineer for Data Infrastructure to help design and operate the backbone of our training and fine-tuning ecosystem. You will contribute to scalable compute fleets and data fabrics across on-premise and cloud-native environments.

You will own lifecycle tasks from migration away from legacy orchestrators to implementing robust pipelines, with on-call rotations for critical workloads in a fast-growing AI setting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Infrastructure, MLOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Experience supporting foundational compute and storage platforms.
• Proficiency in Python and modern, columnar storage standards.
• Kubernetes-native tooling and debugging large-scale distributed systems.

Responsabilités

• Design and scale massive compute fleets and storage systems for high performance.
• Migrate from legacy schedulers and build production-grade pipelines.
• Participate in on-call rotations for critical training jobs.
