A leading international developer is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead design delivery on a flagship data centre project in Paris. You will oversee the full design lifecycle, manage consultant contracts, and ensure alignment with project requirements. The ideal candidate has over 5 years in data centre or mission-critical facilities, along with strong knowledge of CSA / MEP systems. This position offers a chance to be at the forefront of advanced digital infrastructure development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in data centres or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of CSA / MEP systems and RIBA frameworks.
• PMP or PgMP certification is a plus.

Overview

Data Centre Design Manager

Paris | Major New-Build Project

An international developer is expanding into large-scale data centre projects and seeks an experienced Design Manager to lead design delivery on a flagship Paris build.

The Role

Own the full design lifecycle from consultant procurement and RFPs through to detailed design and construction. You’ll guide multi-disciplinary teams (CSA & MEP), ensure cost and quality targets are met, and keep designs aligned with project requirements and local regulations.

Key Focus

• Manage and negotiate consultant contracts and budgets.
• Oversee RIBA Stage 4 & 5 design and construction documentation.
• Drive value engineering, risk management and design change control.
• Coordinate stakeholders and present design solutions for approval.

About You

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in data centres or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of CSA / MEP systems and RIBA frameworks.
• Skilled in AutoCAD / Revit and MS Office; PMP or PgMP a plus.
