Job summary

Netafim, based in Meyreuil (13590), France, is seeking a Sales Support/Field Sales professional to handle customer enquiries, process quotes and orders, and support the sales team with product launches and planning.

Requirements include 3 years in field sales, strong English, proficiency in SAP SD and MS Office, and excellent communication. Meal vouchers and transport reimbursement are offered; the role is based on-site in Meyreuil.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day customer enquiries (by email and telephone) in a responsive, proactive and professional manner.
• Ensure the smooth processing of customer quotations and orders, working closely with the other departments involved (the rest of Operations, the Sales Department, the Finance Department and the Technical Department).
• Ensure the proper follow-up of customer complaints or any specific requests requiring the department’s involvement.
• Support and assist sales staff to help them develop their business effectively by establishing weekly routines: future irrigation projects, pre-season planning, orders in progress, manufacturing/delivery lead times, orders in progress, etc.
• Support sales activities relating to product launches and follow-ups with customers regarding outstanding quotations, in consultation with each sales representative.
• Monitor e-commerce accounts as part of commercial relations
• Support the sales team with the stock clearance policy (telephone follow-ups, statistical analysis)
• Identify new customers on social media in collaboration with the sales team
• Manage projects in order of strategic priority, liaising with the procurement department to manage the most imminent deadlines
