Job summary

Netafim in Meyreuil, near Gardanne, France, seeks an experienced Field Sales Representative to grow our irrigation business with farmers and partners.

You will manage customer inquiries, quotations, orders, and follow-ups, while coordinating with Operations, Sales, Finance and Procurement.

Requirements: French fluency, business English, SAP SD, MS Office, and at least three years in field sales; thrive under pressure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field sales experience in a B2B environment.
• Fluent French; professional English required for day-to-day communication.
• Proficient in SAP SD and Microsoft Office (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day customer inquiries (by email and telephone) in a responsive, proactive and professional manner.
• Ensure the smooth processing of quotations and orders, working closely with Operations, Sales, Finance and Technical departments.
• Follow up on customer complaints or requests requiring department involvement.
• Support sales staff to develop business via weekly routines: future irrigation projects, pre-season planning, orders in progress, delivery lead times.
• Assist sales activities related to product launches and quotations follow-ups in consultation with sales reps.
• Monitor e-commerce accounts as part of commercial relations.
• Support stock clearance policy with the sales team (telephone follow-ups, analysis).
• Identify new customers on social media in collaboration with the sales team.
• Manage projects in order of strategic priority, liaising with procurement to meet deadlines.
