Job summary

Yazaki Europe Middle East and Africa is seeking a Customer Quality Resident Engineer based in Onnaing, France. You will act as the main quality interface with customers and drive quality improvements across Yazaki products and processes.

The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, experience in automotive QA, fluency in French and English, and willingness to travel as needed. You will report to the Quality team and support plant-based quality activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field.
• Experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or a similar role within the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (8D, Root Cause Analysis, etc.).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment.
• Fluent in French and English (selection process conducted in English).
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main quality interface between Yazaki and the customer.
• Monitor, report, and follow up on quality concerns related to Yazaki products.
• Coordinate and track 8D corrective actions and problem-solving activities.
• Perform audits, product inspections, and verification of implemented countermeasures.
• Support manufacturing plants in resolving quality issues.
• Coordinate containment and rework activities when required.
• Support customer quality requirements and reporting activities.
