Yazaki North America, Inc. seeks a Customer Quality Resident Engineer for our plant in France. You will act as the main quality interface with customers, monitor quality concerns, and drive 8D CAPA activities to ensure Yazaki products meet exacting standards.

The role requires a technical degree, automotive quality experience, and fluency in French and English; travel as needed, and the ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment.

Qualificações

• Degree in technical field.
• Experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering within the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (8D, Root Cause Analysis, etc.).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Fluent in French and English (selection process in English).

Responsabilidades

• Act as the main quality interface between Yazaki and the customer.
• Monitor, report, and follow up on quality concerns related to Yazaki products.
• Coordinate and track 8D corrective actions and problem-solving activities.
• Perform audits, product inspections, and verification of implemented countermeasures.
• Support manufacturing plants in resolving quality issues.
• Coordinate containment and rework activities when required.
• Support customer quality requirements and reporting activities.
