A global automotive supplier in Île-de-France is seeking an experienced Application Engineer to manage customer relationships and coordinate technical activities. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering and 2-5 years of professional experience, preferably in the automotive sector. This position requires advanced English proficiency and knowledge of automotive standards. You will contribute to strategies for technical solutions and project monitoring.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensuring effective customer relationship management
• Coordinating all technical activities of our key customers for the identified components (connectors low, high voltage, BFT, electronic automotive components, datacons products etc).
• Providing reliable technical support to strengthen/develop respect and trust with our existing or new customers
• Taking responsibility for technical exchanges and specifications reviews to meet customer expectations and ensure the achievement of their objectives.
• Contribution to the technical strategy and planning
• Identifying customer needs in order to offer technical solutions via our existing or new products
• Participation in the development of the technical strategy, adapted for our different types of customers
• Cooperating with international sales teams to further develop promotional synergies with our customers
• Understand market trends and growth opportunities
• Contribution to the efficient processing of RFQs and ensure project monitoring

Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical /Electronics Engineering)
• Professional experience: 2-5 years (experience in the automotive industry is a plus)
• Experience in automotive wiring harness environment / electrical connection and connectors development would be appreciable.
• English language: Advanced level
• Experience in developing technical projects.
• Experience working in a customer/vendor environment.
• Technical standards: Knowledge of automotive technical standards & ISO.
