Job summary

Luma is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to translate models into production systems for client environments in France. You will embed with customers, learn their workflows, and own the problem from discovery to deployment, using their data and constraints.

This role emphasizes hands-on engineering: build with Luma's APIs and internal tools, prototype and ship systems, and maintain them in real environments with real data. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering, end-to-end shipping experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one general-purpose language (Python, TypeScript, Go, or similar).
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to understand workflows, constraints, and goals, and define the problem.
• Build production systems on Luma's APIs, models, and internal tools.
• Prototype, ship, iterate, and maintain systems customers depend on in real environments with real data.
• Own projects end-to-end, from first conversation to deployed system.
• Feed recurring patterns back to platform and R&D to productize.
