Job summary

Jobgether SRL seeks a Forward Deployed Agile Software Engineer in France to work directly with clients, translating ambiguous needs into production-ready AI-powered applications and agentic workflows. You will design systems that are reliable, secure, observable, and scalable, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deploy end-to-end AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven production-grade software development experience.
• Experience with AI-powered applications or autonomous agents a plus.
• Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript, or similar.
• Experience designing agent loops, tool usage, and orchestration patterns.
• Understanding of prompts, context management, memory, and model selection.
• Familiarity with testing, observability, and production monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to translate needs into requirements and architectures.
• Design and deploy AI-enabled apps, agentic workflows, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Build AI harness infrastructure including prompts, tools, and runtime controls for reliability.
• Develop agent loops with planning, tool selection, execution, observation, and termination.
• Create evaluation frameworks to measure accuracy, latency, cost, and user value.
• Prototype rapidly and transform proofs of concept into secure production systems.
• Ensure enterprise integration with client systems, data sources, and cloud services.
• Establish safeguards, permissions, and fallback strategies for autonomous systems.
• Instrument applications to capture traces, performance, and failures for troubleshooting.
• Apply strong software engineering practices across testing, security, and CI/CD.
• Communicate decisions, risks, and progress to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Share reusable components and patterns to strengthen future projects.
• Support occasional travel for client workshops or on-site delivery.
