Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer in Paris to lead end-to-end deployments of frontier models for strategic customers. You will own discovery, scoping, system design, build, and production rollout, working closely with customer teams and OpenAI's product, research, and security groups.

You will write production-grade code in Python/JavaScript, frame deployment architectures, manage risks, and drive adoption.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering or technical deployment experience that includes customer-facing work.
• Experience delivering complex systems in fast-moving or ambiguous environments.
• Experience with Python/JavaScript and production-grade code.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployments of frontier models for strategic customers.
• Own discovery, technical scoping, system design, build and production rollout.
• Collaborate with product, research, partnerships, GRC, security and GTM teams.
• Measure success through production adoption and impact on workflows.
• Share field feedback to influence product and model roadmaps.
• Communicate clearly with engineers, product teams, and customer stakeholders.
