Job summary

TechTree in France (remote) is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to lead technical delivery for enterprise clients, blending ML depth with software engineering to design, build and deploy custom AI solutions on top of our models.

You will work directly with client teams, assume end-to-end ownership from architecture to production, and operate under real production constraints, with relocation to France required.

Qualifications

• Professional experience as Software Engineer or ML Engineer using Python in production.
• Hands-on experience deploying ML or LLM solutions.
• Willingness to relocate to France.
• Experience with distributed systems, data pipelines, or enterprise tooling.
• Background at a top-tier tech company or elite AI scale-up.
• Experience with TypeScript or Go.
• French nationals abroad planning to return are a plus.

Job description

We are a leading AI company building foundational large language models and enterprise AI products. This role supports large-scale enterprise deployments, building and shipping custom solutions on top of our models for major client accounts.

The role

We're scaling our B2B enterprise deployments and hiring Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) to lead technical delivery for enterprise clients. You'll blend applied ML/data science depth with rigorous software engineering - designing, building and deploying custom solutions directly alongside customer teams. The role is roughly 80% hands-on engineering and 20% technical client guidance.

What you'll do

Design, build and deploy custom AI/ML and LLM-based solutions on top of our models for enterprise clients.

Own delivery end-to-end - from architecture through production deployment and adoption.

Work directly with technical stakeholders at client organizations, guiding architecture and implementation decisions.

Operate under real production and infrastructure constraints, building systems that hold up at enterprise scale.

What you bring

Professional experience as a Software Engineer or ML Engineer, using Python in production.

Hands-on experience deploying machine learning or LLM solutions.

Willingness to relocate to France.

Nice to have

Experience with distributed systems, mission-critical data pipelines, or enterprise tooling.

A background at a top-tier tech company (e.g. AWS, Microsoft) or an elite AI scale-up.

Experience with TypeScript or Go.

French nationals currently living abroad who are looking to return are a great fit.
