Job summary

budgetplaces.com is seeking a Country Manager, France to base in Paris and lead hotel contracting across France, driving deals through calls, visits, and support for hotelier uploads. You will coordinate with our Barcelona HQ on production and training and steer growth initiatives.

With 5+ years in online travel and 2+ years in sales management, you will analyze trends, manage the French P&L, and handle logistics and travel up to 1 week per month. Join a fast-paced, results-driven team.

Qualifications

• We're looking for a sales superstar who is also:
• Big picture, strategic thinker. Passionate about the online hotel industry.
• MBA or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years commercial experience in the online travel industry, preferablywith an OTA.
• 2+ years in a Sales Management position.
• Experience with hiring, training, managing teams.
• Result & customer oriented
• Organized, paying attention to all small details

Responsibilities

• Set-up and manage the hotel contracting operation in France.
• Actively contract hotels: cold calls and visits, follow-up leads, assist hotelier in website upload process.
• Coordinate production and training with our global headquarters in Barcelona.
• Analyze trends, growth potential, product gaps in the hotel industry in France. Design action plan for hotel contracting accordingly.
• Manage the P&L for the French operations. Show high positive ROI of accommodation recruited over time.
• Deal with logistics of our French operations - office lease, lawyer, taxation, administration, etc.
• This position requires travelling (up to 1 week per month).
