Botresources in Paris is offering a six-month internship for a Context Engineer. The role focuses on bridging business needs and AI capabilities, including analyzing client workflows and designing system prompts.

The ideal candidate will be at the Master's level in a relevant field with excellent writing skills in English and a strong ability to understand complex systems. This is an on-site position with a direct path to full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Master's level (final year) is required.
• Available full-time in Paris 5e (no remote) for 6 months.
• Fluent Mandarin is a nice to have.

Bot Resources designs agentic systems based on generative AI. Our approach combines research, engineering, and consulting to build "digital exoskeletons" — solutions that augment teams on repetitive tasks while leaving reasoning, creativity, and accountability to humans.We are practitioners first and foremost, working in demanding environments. About the Role

This internship is a talent pipeline: we're looking for someone to train intensively for 6 months, with the goal of hiring them immediately after. Only candidates available for full-time employment within 2 months after the internship ends should apply.As a Context Engineer intern, you'll bridge business needs and AI capabilities. Your mission: understand what users actually need, then design the context, prompts, and tool descriptions that make our agents useful in real-world scenarios.

Your Missions

• Analyze client workflows and translate business requirements into agent specifications
• Design and write system prompts that encode domain expertise and decision frameworks
• Create tool descriptions that agents can understand and use effectively
• Test and evaluate agent outputs against business criteria
• Iterate on context design based on user feedback and deployment learnings
• Collaborate with Flow Engineers to understand codebases (using coding agents as assistants)
• Document what works, what doesn't, and why — building institutional knowledge

Required Skills

• Master's level (final year) in humanities, linguistics, psychology, cognitive science, or related field
• Exceptional writing skills in English (this is 80% of the job)
• Ability to understand complex systems and articulate them clearly
• Intellectual curiosity and comfort with ambiguity
• Strong autonomy: able to structure your own work, ask the right questions, learn independently
• Comfortable working with technical teams (you'll be exposed to code, even if you don't write it)
• Available full-time in Paris 5e (no remote) for 6 months

Nice to Have

• Fluent Mandarin (major asset — we're experimenting with Chinese open-source models and need native-level prompting)
• Experience with UX research, user interviews, or requirements gathering
• Background in philosophy of language, semantics, or pragmatics
• Familiarity with AI/LLM concepts (but we'll teach you what you need)
