GetVocal AI in Paris seeks a structured, hands-on AI Agent Engineer Intern to support internal workflows and client delivery, bridging operations, product, and customer success.

You will build conversational AI agents, integrate with APIs, test and optimize, and work with product and engineering teams in a hybrid Paris setup. The internship lasts six months with ownership and learning opportunities and 25 days of holidays.

Qualifications

• Final-year master's student in engineering or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with SaaS operations or customer delivery is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Configure integrations with external systems and APIs for end-to-end AI solutions.
• Test, debug, and optimize AI agents before and after production deployments.
• Support customer deployments by troubleshooting issues with the Forward-Deployed Engineering team.

The Role

We are looking for a structured, hands-on AI Agent Engineer Intern to join our team in Paris. This role supports key internal workflows, coordination across teams, and the day-to-day delivery of customer projects. You will work at the intersection of operations, product, and customer delivery, playing a client-facing role while also owning and maintaining operational and platform documentation. This position offers strong exposure to both internal tools and customer-facing processes.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain conversational AI agents using our internal platform, designing conversation flows, business logic, and decision trees for real customer use cases
• Configure integrations with external systems and APIs to deliver end-to-end AI solutions and implement automation of workflows using tools such as Activepieces or n8n
• Test, debug, and continuously optimize AI agents before and after production deployments by analyzing real customer conversations
• Support customer deployments by troubleshooting technical issues alongside the Forward-Deployed Engineering team
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer teams to deliver high-quality AI solutions and reusable deployment components

Requirements

What we're looking for:

• Final-year Master's student (engineering or equivalent) looking for a hands-on operational role
• Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
• Comfortable working across multiple tools and collaborating with different teams
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, and workflow automation (n8n, ActivePieces, Make)
• Fluent in English and at least one additional language (French, German, Portuguese, etc.)
• Previous exposure to SaaS operations, customer success, or process documentation
