Fortinet, Inc. is seeking a Consulting Systems Engineer to support the INTL region (EMEA and APAC) from the International Sales Department. You will be responsible for design, demonstrations, POCs, and technical discussions that articulate Fortinet’s value across FortiADC, FortiDDoS, and FortiCASB.

You will build sales enablement content, collaborate with Product Management to capture customer requirements, and travel internationally as needed to drive opportunities and strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in network security.
• 8+ years in technical pre-sales.
• Experience with global/international teams.
• Strong knowledge of Web Technology, Application Security, Network Security.
• Hands-on with on-prem and cloud infra (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Responsabilités

• Member of the CSE team covering the INTL region (EMEA and APAC).
• Provide second-level pre-sales support: respond to RFPs/RFIs, assist with designs, and support key projects.
• Lead technical discussions, demonstrate differentiated value, and conduct solution presentations/POCs.
• Build technical materials (slide decks, briefs, white papers, success stories) and deliver workshops.
• Disseminate product knowledge to Sales Team and Channel; coordinate with Product Management to report customer needs.

Consulting Systems Engineer – FortiADC, FortiDDoS, FortiCASB

Objective: As a member of the International Sales Department, you will work closely with the Sales Team to position our Portfolio of Solutions, educate and drive field Systems Engineers in their projects and report product evolution requests to Product Management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Member of the CSE team covering the INTL region covering EMEA and APAC
• Second-level of pre-sales support to assist the Sales/SE organization with:
  • Responding to RFPs/RFIs: design, solution specification, product information
  • Supporting key projects to ensure Fortinet success
  • Leading technical discussions, articulating the technology and demonstrating differentiated value
  • Conducting compelling solution presentations, demonstrations, and POCs
• Responsible for building technical material to support sales activities (slideware, solution briefs, white papers, success stories, etc), designing and delivering workshops
• Effectively disseminate product knowledge to the Sales Team and Channel
• Point of contact for the Product Management team: responsible for reporting and consolidating customer needs across INTL, validating business cases, writing and prioritizing feature requests
• Report project activities, analyze project trends, and provide market vision
• Participate in the development of commercial strategies
• Participate in seminars
• Travel as required in the international region (EMEA and infrequent travel to APAC)
• Being able to self-start and understand the addressable market for your designated technologies
• Work closely with Product Managers and peer CSE’s to provide your input on product direction and strategy

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the network security industry.
• Technical pre-sales experience (8 years)
• Vendor experience in similar fields
• Experience in a global organization, international is a pre
• Strong understanding of Web Technology, Application Security, Network Security, TCP/IP, Routing, Switching
• Architectural and hands‑on experience with both on‑prem and cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Expert level in at least two of the following areas:
  • DDoS: DoS/DDoS detection, analysis and mitigation, Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), TCP/IP, DNS in-depth, Multi‑layer L3‑L4‑L7 attack vectors, vulnerability analysis, network defense, auditing processes
  • ADC: Load Balancing (SLB, LLB, GSLB), OWASP TOP10, Negative/Positive Security model, Signature and Machine Learning based protection, HTTP/2 – HTTP/3, TLS 1.3, API security (OpenAPI, REST, GraphQL), Bot Protection, DoS protection, Threat Analytics
  • CASB: Proxy, API, Cloud SaaS (e.g. Office 365, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Box etc). Cloud IaaS management, Compliance reporting, SSPM, DLP, EntraID, Directory Services.
• Strong presentation skills to executives, DMU and technical individual contributors
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• A self‑motivated, independent thinker
• Candidates with hands‑on experience with one of the leading vendors are preferred
• CISSP, CISM, Fortinet NSE4, 7 or other equivalent certification is a plus
