Fortinet is seeking a Consulting Systems Engineer to join the International Sales team, focusing on FortiADC, FortiDDoS, and FortiCASB. You will educate field SEs, respond to RFPs, and drive technical discussions across INTL with emphasis on EMEA and APAC.

This role requires strong pre-sales experience, global collaboration, and expert knowledge of web and cloud security technologies. Travel will be required; fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the network security industry.
• Technical pre-sales experience (8 years).
• Vendor experience in similar fields.
• Experience in a global organization, international is a pre-requisite.
• Strong understanding of Web Technology, Application Security, Network Security, TCP/IP, Routing, Switching.
• Architectural and hands-on experience with both on-prem and cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Expert level in at least two of the following areas: DDoS, ADC, CASB.
• Strong presentation skills to executives, DMU and technical individual contributors.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• A self-motivated, independent thinker.
• Candidates with hands-on experience with one of the leading vendors are preferred.
• CISSP, CISM, Fortinet NSE4, or other equivalent certifications are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Member of the CSE team covering the INTL region including EMEA and APAC.
• Second-level pre-sales support to assist Sales/SE organization with responses to RFPs/RFIs: design, solution specification, product information.
• Support key projects to ensure Fortinet success.
• Lead technical discussions, articulate technology and demonstrate differentiated value.
• Conduct compelling solution presentations, demonstrations, and POCs; build technical material (slides, briefs, white papers, success stories).
• Disseminate product knowledge to Sales Team and Channel.
• Point of contact for Product Management: report customer needs, validate business cases, prioritize feature requests.
• Report project activities, analyze trends, provide market vision.
• Participate in development of commercial strategies and seminars.
• Travel as required in INTL region (EMEA, infrequent APAC).
• Collaborate with Product Managers and CSEs on product direction and strategy.

Objective: As a member of the International Sales Department, you will work closely with the Sales Team to position our Portfolio of Solutions, educate and drive field Systems Engineers in their projects and report product evolution requests to Product Management.

Job Responsibilities

• Member of the CSE team covering the INTL region covering EMEA and APAC
• Second-level of pre-sales support to assist the Sales/SE organization with:
• Responding to RFPs/RFIs: design, solution specification, product information
• Supporting key projects to ensure Fortinet success
• Leading technical discussions, articulating the technology and demonstrating differentiated value
• Conducting compelling solution presentations, demonstrations, and POCsResponsible for building technical material to support sales activities (slideware, solution briefs, white papers, success stories, etc.), designing and delivering workshops
• Effectively disseminate product knowledge to the Sales Team and Channel
• Point of contact for the Product Management team: responsible for reporting and consolidating customer needs across INTL, validating business cases, writing and prioritizing feature requests
• Report project activities, analyze project trends, and provide market vision
• Participate in the development of commercial strategies
• Participate in seminars
• Travel as required in the international region (EMEA and infrequent travel to APAC)
• Being able to self-start and understand the addressable market for your designated technologies
• Work closely with Product Managers and peer CSE’s to provide your input on product direction and strategy

• ADC: Load Balancing (SLB, LLB, GSLB), OWASP TOP10, Negative/Positive Security model, Signature and Machine Learning based protection, HTTP/2 – HTTP/3, TLS 1.3, API security (OpenAPI, REST, GraphQL), Bot Protection, DoS protection, Threat Analytics
• CASB: Proxy, API, Cloud SaaS (e.g. Office 365, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Box etc). Cloud IaaS management, Compliance reporting, SSPM, DLP, EntraID, Directory Services.
