Avanath Capital is seeking a Community Manager Assistant to support resident relations, leasing duties, and financial duties at our workforce housing communities. You will help maintain community standards, process rents, and coordinate events while collaborating with property staff.

The role emphasizes compliant operations, strong communication, and organization to ensure exceptional resident experiences and adherence to program guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as an Assistant Community Manager.
• LIHTC/Tax Credit Program Knowledge required.
• Excellent communication skills and dedication to customer service.
• Solid bookkeeping and rent collection experience.
• Understanding of landlord/tenant law and Fair Housing Laws.
• Strong interpersonal skills; organized and resourceful.
• Solid knowledge of Windows (Word, Excel) and e-mail.
• Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software.

Responsabilités

• Manage resident relations and customer service; address complaints promptly.
• Assist leasing duties, including tours for prospective residents.
• Handle all property finances: rent postings, deposits, and collections.
• Review ledgers for delinquencies and enforce lease terms.
• Support monthly projections, vacancy inspections, and make-readies.
• Oversee operations in Community Manager’s absence; liaise with staff.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing guidelines and policies.
