Job summary

Joko, a Paris-based AI shopping app, is seeking a Legal Counsel, Commercial & IP to partner with business teams and own contracts, IP, commercial disputes and insurance. You will report to the Head of Legal Maya.

You will negotiate partnerships with merchants and brands, ensure compliance with French and EU rules, and translate business needs into practical templates and playbooks. Fluent French and English are required; Paris Bar is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in commercial or IP/IT law.
• In-house experience in tech or consumer company is a strong plus.
• Fluent in French and English; other European language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate partnerships, contracts, and IP-related matters.
• Own contracts, IP, commercial disputes and insurance programs.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing and external partners to protect and grow the business.
