Schneider Electric in Grenoble (Eybens) is seeking a Support To business Engineer to reinforce technical and commercial support across Europe within the European Busways Center of Excellence. The role covers prescription, tendering, design, training, and post‑sales collaboration.

You will coordinate with operations and plants, lead tendering and design efforts, and act as the reference for Busway product ranges, with fluent English and a commercial mindset.

Qualifications

  • Engineering background in electrotechnical, mechanical, or thermal fields.
  • Ability to clearly explain product advantages.
  • Excellent communication and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Commercial mindset and sales support experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

  • Leading prescription activities and supporting tendering efforts: link with Key Account Managers and influence technical choices.
  • Providing technical and commercial support to local organizations and go-to-market teams during pre-sales to optimize offers.
  • Delivering training on products, tools, and design best practices.
  • Participating in business reviews and supporting opportunity follow-up.
  • Acting as the technical and commercial reference for the Busway product ranges.
  • Ensuring coordination between operations, production plants (Dijon, FR & Prodax, HU).

Within Power Product LoB - Critical Application league, European Busways Center of Excellence team is supporting Front Offices and segments on all steps of projects, through prescription, tendering, design, trainings activities… Team is playing a key role to link front offices, plants and division on busways topics.

Your role :

To support the growth of our Busway activity, we are looking for a Support To business Engineer to join the European Busways Center of Excellence (CoE). This position plays a key role in reinforcing our technical and commercial support across Europe and strengthening our presence on the Cloud & Service Provider (C&SP) segment.

Your missions :

As a Support To business Engineer, you will contribute to the full project lifecycle—from early design and tendering phases to execution (ordering, installation, commissioning). Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading prescription activities and supporting tendering efforts:
    • Link with Key Account Managers
    • Influence on technical choices
  • Providing technical and commercial support to local organizations and go‑to‑market teams, by leveraging application expertise, on pre-sales stage to optimize offers.
  • Delivering training on products, tools, and design best practices.
  • Participating in business reviews and supporting opportunity follow‑up.
  • Acting as the technical and commercial reference for the Busway product ranges.
  • Ensuring coordination between operations, production plants (Dijon, FR & Prodax, HU), and the Critical Applications league.

The role is based in Grenoble (Eybens), you may be required to travel occasionally to meet customers

Your profile :

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive engineer with:

  • Strong multi‑disciplinary engineering background in one or more fields (electrotechnical, mechanical, thermal…).
  • Ability to clearly explain product advantages and differentiate them from competition.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer‑oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Commercial mindset
Assets
  • Knowledge of busway systems and Schneider Electric design tools (CanBRASS, CanCAD, BimBusway).
  • Experience in sales support, tendering, or business development.
  • Fluent english (Worldwide connections)

For this France based position, the expected pay range is EUR 63.200 - EUR 94.800 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives (annual bonus) at target. The compensation range for this full‑time position applies to candidates located in France. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Individual’s compensation is positioned within the range based on several factors such as knowledge, job‑related skills, experience, potential and relevant education or training.
