Job summary

Swan.io is seeking a Senior Internal Controller to design, deploy, and manage the permanent control system within the Compliance, Risk & Internal Control department. You will ensure risk management, regulatory compliance, and efficiency of operational processes while supporting business growth.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, update risk mappings, and drive second-level controls and documentation to strengthen Swan's internal control framework.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years experience in Internal control / audit.
• Experience in a Fintech environment, payment institution or bank.
• Experience in a regulated environment.
• Strong ability to adapt quickly to new requests.
• Good working proficiency in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the internal control framework and second-level control plans.
• Conduct second-level control missions to evaluate first-level controls.
• Analyze control results and produce reports to identify gaps in risk management.
• Formulate strategic recommendations and monitor their implementation.
• Manage internal control tools and update risk mapping in quarterly reviews.
• Support operational teams in defining procedures and first-level controls.
• Document and maintain procedures related to second-level control activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a strong risk culture.
