Alma is seeking a seasoned Head of Legal & DPO to guide the company\'s legal strategy from Paris. You will partner with Product, Tech, Sales, Operations and Finance to translate business goals into compliant, scalable solutions while ensuring privacy by design.

This leadership role requires a strong track record in banking/fintech, European deployments and a proactive risk-aware mindset. You will lead the Legal team, manage external counsel, and oversee corporate governance, regulatory

Qualifications

• Master\'s degree in law or equivalent.
• 15+ years in senior legal roles, fintech/banking and law firms.
• Expertise in banking, commercial and technology contracts.
• Experience supporting international activities across Europe.
• Ability to act as Data Protection Officer.
• Fluent in French and English.

Responsabilités

• Define and lead Alma's legal strategy aligned with business goals.
• Advise Product and Tech teams on new products with privacy considerations.
• Oversee drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements.
• Establish scalable contracting standards and processes.
• Oversee corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
• Act as Alma's Data Protection Officer and monitor DPIAs.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Legal team.
