CMA CGM in Marseille is looking for someone to prepare the Chairman’s meetings with key stakeholders in the maritime and logistics sector. This role involves drafting briefing notes, coordinating input from local offices, and producing daily press summaries.
The ideal candidate will have strong synthesis and writing skills, proficiency in French and English, and the ability to navigate high-level interactions. Knowledge of economic ecosystems is essential for this position, which requires autonomy and initiative.
Reporting to the Chief of Staff, you will prepare the Chairman’s meetings with key economic stakeholders and strategic partners (clients, investors, corporate executives, suppliers, industrial partners, transport and logistics players, startups, financial institutions), as well as institutional stakeholders (French, European, and international actors).
You will produce concise briefing notes based on daily monitoring of economic, geopolitical, and business issues, as well as the consolidation of key information from the Group’s activities (maritime transport, logistics, and media).
You will work in tandem with another person also responsible for preparing the Chairman’s meetings.
1. Preparation of briefing notes

You will identify, request, and consolidate relevant information from all Group entities to ensure a complete, consistent, and up-to-date view of the Group’s activities and footprint relevant to each meeting, including:
2. Coordination with Group local offices
Identify and consolidate input from Group divisions, local offices, and subsidiaries regarding ongoing projects, key issues, and partnerships.
3. Press monitoring and synthesis
Produce a daily press review for the Chairman (political, regulatory, economic, geopolitical, business, and media news).
Write concise article summaries for the Chairman and his office.
4. Strategic note writing
Occasionally draft strategic briefing documents, issue notes, speaking points, and preparatory materials.
