SME Careers is seeking a Catalan Quality Assurance Lead to oversee quality across AI training projects. You will review Catalan content, evaluate against guidelines, and provide precise written feedback for remote teams. Strong Catalan and English skills, with attention to detail, are essential.

You will monitor quality, support onboarding, maintain documentation, and drive improvements in Catalan-language QA workflows, ensuring consistency and cultural accuracy across projects.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Catalan with strong reading and writing skills.
• Strong English to follow guidelines and provide feedback in English.
• 1+ years in Catalan writing, editing, translation, localization, or related QA work.
• Deep understanding of Catalan grammar, punctuation, and regional variants.
• Experience supporting remote teams and maintaining quality documentation.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to apply language style guides.

Responsabilités

• Quality monitoring: spot-check Catalan items and identify quality issues with feedback.
• Trainer/QA communication: update teams on new guidelines and workflow changes.
• Question handling: respond clearly on Catalan wording, tone, and localization nuances.
• Activation management: DM inactive contributors and track follow-ups.
• Documentation: create and maintain Catalan project docs, glossaries, and guides.
• Onboarding and training: run sessions to explain expectations and rubrics.
• Quality alignment: ensure consistency with Catalan guidelines across projects.
• Process improvement: identify gaps and help build scalable QA processes.
