Relx Plc is offering a 6-month Carbon Analytics Internship based in Paris, focusing on data analytics, market indicators and price forecasting in the European carbon markets. You will work with senior analysts and gain hands-on experience using AI tools for coding and research.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, have Python/SQL experience, and strong English communication skills. Flexible hours and a competitive internship salary are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Financial Engineering, Data Engineering.
• Programming experience in Python and SQL.
• Strong communication and writing skills in English.
• Confidence in handling and visualising large datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative mindset and the ability to take initiative.
• Interest in energy markets, particularly European carbon markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data analytics and visualisation tools on our platform, including market indicators and price forecasting models.
• Support key projects through data handling, analysis and programming.
• Work with large and complex datasets.
• Lead a high-impact research project with direct business value.
• Collaborate with experienced quantitative and qualitative analysts.
• Interact with other energy teams, including Power, Gas and LNG.
