Job summary

ICIS, part of LexisNexis Risk Solutions, is offering a 6-month Carbon Analytics internship in Paris, France. You will develop data analytics and visualization tools, work with large datasets, and lead a high-impact research project under mentorship.

Strong Python/SQL skills and English communication are essential. The role sits within ICIS, a DG of energy market insights, providing hands-on experience in European carbon markets and collaboration with energy teams across Power, Gas and LNG.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Financial Engineering, Data Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
• Programming experience in Python and SQL.
• Strong communication and writing skills in English.
• Confidence in handling and visualising large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data analytics and visualization tools on our platform.
• Support key projects through data handling, analysis and programming.
• Work with large and complex datasets.
• Lead a high-impact research project with direct business value.
• Collaborate with experienced quantitative and qualitative analysts.
• Interact with other energy teams including Power, Gas and LNG.
