Job summary

RELX International's ICIS Carbon Analytics internship in Paris offers hands-on data analytics and model development opportunities. You will work on market indicators, price forecasting, and data-driven research under senior analysts, contributing to cross-energy team projects.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Financial Engineering, Data Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
• Programming experience in Python and SQL.
• Strong communication and writing skills in English.
• Confidence in handling and visualising large datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to take initiative.
• An interest in energy markets, particularly European carbon markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data analytics and visualisation tools on our platform, including market indicators and price forecasting models.
• Support key projects through data handling, analysis and programming.
• Work with large and complex datasets.
• Lead a high-impact research project with direct business value.
• Collaborate with experienced quantitative and qualitative analysts.
• Interact with other energy teams, including Power, Gas and LNG.
