ICIS, part of the LexisNexis Risk Solutions portfolio, invites applications for a Carbon Analytics Intern. You will develop data analytics and visualization tools, handle large datasets, and lead a high-impact research project with direct business value in the European carbon markets.

The 6-month internship offers mentorship, exposure to AI tools for coding and market research, and collaboration with Power, Gas and LNG teams across Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Financial Engineering, Data Engineering or related field.
• Programming experience in Python and SQL.
• Strong English communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data analytics and visualisation tools for market indicators and price forecasting.
• Support projects through data handling, analysis and programming.
• Lead a high-impact research project with business value.
• Collaborate with analysts across domains such as Power, Gas and LNG.
• Interact with energy teams and other stakeholders.
