Business Transformation Senior Manager / Director – Energy & Utilities France

Role Mission

BIP is looking for a Senior Manager / Director to support the development of its Energy & Utilities business in France, with a particular focus on the electricity and gas retail market.

The ideal candidate is a senior Business Consultant combining strong Energy industry expertise, knowledge of the French market, consulting leadership and client development capabilities. The role will combine project leadership and business development, with the potential to become a key reference for BIP’s Energy practice in France.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders at major Energy clients.
• Identify client needs and translate them into consulting and transformation opportunities.
• Lead complex business transformation and advisory projects, ensuring quality and business impact.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary consulting teams and provide senior guidance throughout project delivery.
• Contribute to client development and business growth, supporting the expansion of BIP’s Energy & Utilities presence in France.

Profile & Experience

• 10+ years of professional experience, with significant experience in leading consulting firms and seniority consistent with a Senior Manager / Director role.
• Strong track record with major French Energy players
• Deep knowledge of the French electricity and gas retail market, its business models, competitive dynamics and key processes.
• Strong understanding of the French Energy regulatory framework and its implications for energy retailers.
• Experience in Energy business transformation, including areas such as sales, customer management, customer operations, billing, credit and operating model transformation.
• Proven ability to manage senior client relationships, understand business needs and identify and develop new consulting opportunities.
• Strong experience in leading complex projects and coordinating consulting teams.
• Business-oriented profile with strong consulting capabilities
• Fluent/native French and professional English.
• Existing relationships or a strong professional network within the French Energy ecosystem would be a significant plus.
