Ready to open a brand-new market? Join Winko in Paris as our UK Business Developer (Freelance, 6 months).
Winko is expanding to the UK, and we’re looking for someone to lead the charge with independent and mid-sized fashion retailers, starting in London. There’s no established playbook and no pre-qualified leads, just a market to crack and the freedom to figure out how.
You’ll own the full sales cycle, from building your first prospect list to signing our first UK clients. If you’re resourceful, scrappy and happiest when you’re creating something out of nothing, this mission is for you.
Contract: Freelance, 6-month mission
Location: On-site in our Paris office
Market: UK fashion retail, small and medium businesses (independent boutiques, multi-store brands, concept stores)
Scope: The full sales cycle, from building the target list to closing and onboarding
Map the UK fashion retail landscape (starting with London) and build your prospect lists from scratch
Find the right decision-makers (founders, owners, store and area managers) and get their attention
Use your own network to open doors and sign our first UK clients
Run demos that make Winko click for retailers
Get new clients to post their first mission on Winko, then stay close during their first weeks so they succeed
Keep a high, consistent pace of calls, video calls and follow-ups, because volume and persistence win in a new market
Track your pipeline and results (simply, with whatever works)
Report what you learn back to our product, tech and marketing teams: objections, pricing feedback, what UK retailers need
You’re our gem if you:
Big plus
