Winko is expanding to the UK and seeking a freelance UK Business Developer to lead the market launch from Paris. You will map the UK fashion retail scene, build a fresh prospect list, and drive end-to-end sales—from finding decision-makers to closing and onboarding first UK retailers.

You’ll report insights to product and marketing teams and sustain rapid, persistent outreach to fuel growth. Ideal candidates are native English speakers with a strong network in UK fashion retail, a startup/ SaaS

Qualifications

• Native English speaker required.
• Experience or strong network in UK fashion retail a plus.
• Ability to build target lists from scratch and manage the sales cycle.

Responsibilities

• Map the UK fashion retail landscape (starting in London) and build prospect lists from scratch.
• Identify decision-makers (founders, owners, store managers) and engage them.
• Sign first UK clients and run product demos for retailers.
• Onboard new clients and support them through initial weeks to ensure success.
• Maintain a high volume of calls and follow-ups; sustain momentum in a new market.
• Track pipeline and communicate learnings to product, tech and marketing teams.
