Job summary

Rivercell is seeking an FP&A Manager to build and run the financial backbone as we scale from a small team to an industrial-grade biology data platform. You will partner with the COO, own your scope end to end, and implement the processes needed to operate cleanly as headcount and capex grow.

Responsibilities include owning the business plan and rolling forecast, financial reporting, developing models for strategic decisions, and supporting governance and investor reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in audit, transaction services, financial consulting or strategy consulting at a recognised firm, or finance in a fast-growing startup.
• Strong numerical and modeling skills with auditable, clean outputs.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Own the business plan and rolling forecast including headcount, R&D, marketing, and capex.
• Manage monthly and annual closings with the external accountant.
• Support fundraising, grant funding, and cost reporting.
• Prepare board materials: financial packs, KPI dashboards, and budget vs actual analysis.
• Maintain data room and internal reporting infrastructure.
• Coordinate governance routines and corporate compliance as the company grows.
