Job summary

Innovative Beauty Group in Paris is building a new end-to-end B2B marketplace and is seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead packaging projects from brief to delivery. Qualifications

• A degree in project management, international business, engineering, packaging, cosmetics or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least one experience in project management, ideally within packaging, beauty, cosmetics or fast-moving consumer goods.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• The ability to manage budgets, timelines, risks and competing priorities while keeping customer expectations in focus.
• A good understanding of product development, sourcing and technical feasibility.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to work effectively in an international environment.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills; experience with project management tools, CRM or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Experience in a B2B digital, e-commerce or marketplace environment would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and clarify customer briefs with the Marketplace Business Developer.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, resources and budgets.
• Build and maintain detailed project plans, from solution development through to delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including sourcing, quality, design, logistics and sales, as well as external suppliers and partners.
• Monitor costs, timelines and project profitability.
• Anticipate risks, resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
• Assess the impact of changes to project scope and coordinate approval with the relevant stakeholders.
• Translate customer needs into practical, achievable solutions with the team.
• Coordinate inputs required for commercial proposals, including technical options, quotations, samples and lead times.
• Be the day-to-day operational contact for customers throughout project delivery.
• Provide clear, regular updates on progress, decisions and next steps.
• Engage IBG's specialist teams to address customization and product development requirements.
• Gather customer and supplier feedback to help improve the offering and service experience.
• Identify packaging solutions and suppliers that match customer briefs.
• Coordinate sample requests, development activities and technical approvals.
• Help enrich the marketplace offering by identifying relevant products, innovations and customization opportunities.
• Incorporate quality, cost and environmental considerations into proposed solutions.
• Stay informed about packaging trends, innovations and evolving customer needs.
• Work with Quality teams to define and monitor the necessary checks and approvals.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, technical records and customer approvals.
• Coordinate the resolution of non-conformities with suppliers and the relevant internal teams.
• Prepare regular project reports and monitor performance indicators.
• Help establish processes, dashboards and documentation templates suited to the activity.
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to more efficient, reliable project delivery.
