Job summary

Sephora is seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer to lead the development and qualification of packaging projects within the beauty industry. You will manage end-to-end packaging initiatives from design inception with Marketing to supplier qualifications, ensuring timelines, quality, and cost targets are met.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in technical packaging, a Scientific Bachelor's degree, and strong leadership and communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Experience in packaging within the beauty industry, minimum 10 years.
• Scientific Bachelor's degree in packaging, chemistry, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-moving project pipeline.
• Professional fluency in English.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and qualify a portfolio of packaging projects from concept to supplier validation.
• Lead cross-functional teams across Marketing, Formula Development, and Purchasing.
• Ensure on-time launches with quality, cost, and capacity targets.
• Perform risk assessments and testing at contract manufacturers.
• Lead and mentor a team of packaging engineers.
