Job summary

Full House Resorts is seeking an experienced bartender to craft handcrafted cocktails and premium beverages in a high-volume resort environment. You will deliver exceptional guest service, suggest based on guest preferences, and ensure accurate, timely beverage service.

You’ll handle orders, payments, and cash with care while keeping a clean, compliant bar area. Collaboration with servers and kitchen staff is essential during peak hours, holidays, and evenings.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create a diverse array of meticulously handcrafted cocktails, mocktails, and other specialty beverages using top-notch ingredients, techniques, and garnishes. Continuously introduce fresh and captivating drink concoctions.
• Provide exemplary customer service by warmly greeting guests, engaging in friendly and professional conversations, and understanding their preferences. Offer recommendations based on their tastes, ensuring a personalized and delightful experience.
• Efficiently and accurately take drink orders, prepare them promptly, and serve beverages with keen attention to detail and presentation. Ensure all orders align with company standards and meet specific customer requests.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of both classic and contemporary mixology, encompassing various spirits, liqueurs, bitters, and other ingredients. Stay updated on emerging industry trends and new techniques.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized bar area, ensuring that all glassware, utensils, and bar tools are sanitized and readily available. Adhere to safety and hygiene protocols, including proper ingredient handling and storage.
• Collaborate closely with fellow team members, such as servers, kitchen staff, and management, to ensure smooth operations and a seamless customer experience. Provide support during peak business hours and assist in other areas of the establishment as necessary.
• Accurately process customer payments, handle cash responsibly, and maintain a secure cash register. Keep records of sales, tips, and inventory to facilitate effective management and financial transparency.
• Provides quality customer service by answering questions to encourage guests to purchase bar and restaurant services.
• Monitors guests for intoxication. If applicable, discontinue alcohol sales and inform security and immediate supervisor. Alerts supervisor and security regarding guests who may be difficult or possibly violent.
• Develops, maintains, and enhances positive relations with all guests and employees.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated bartending experience in a reputable establishment. Strong customer service skills, enabling effective interaction and connection with patrons. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail, prioritizing tasks, and delivering exceptional service even under pressure. Willingness to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in the hospitality industry.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of recent experience bartending in a reputable establishment, showcasing proficiency in creating a wide variety of cocktails and beverages.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

$16.00+ based on experience plus tips
