Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Backend Engineer, Solving, to design and own core quote-generation, pricing engines, and cross-chain transaction workflows from France. You’ll build with TypeScript/Node.js, integrate with DEXs like 1inch and Uniswap, and optimize for reliability, pricing accuracy, and profitability.

You will work on multi-stage pipelines, enable secure settlement primitives, and contribute to scalable backend infrastructure in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Strong backend experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience building systems that interact with on-chain protocols.
• Solid understanding of DeFi fundamentals (AMMs, liquidity pools, MEV).
• Ability to design and own complex, multi-stage processing pipelines.
• Focus on reliability, observability, and incident response.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• High degree of ownership and autonomy.
• Effective cross-team communication in a remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve core quote-generation and pricing engine with on-chain price feeds and swap routing.
• Develop and maintain integrations with DEXs and aggregators (1inch, LiFi, Uniswap).
• Own end-to-end transaction pipelines from detection to settlement.
• Improve reliability and observability with structured error propagation and incident triage using Datadog.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve execution failures and bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with protocol teams to integrate new settlement primitives and liquidity.
• Develop pricing features for payment use cases including stablecoins and fixed pricing.
• Take ownership of projects from design through deployment and optimization.
• Contribute to backend architecture and tooling for scalable cross-chain infrastructure.
