Job summary

MG Motor Europe is seeking an experienced technical support professional to act as the primary contact for MG dealer networks across Europe. You will assist with diagnostics, repair methods and the use of diagnostic tools, coordinating with the European Technical Support team on electrified vehicles.

The role requires at least 3 years in automotive tech support, a higher technical qualification in automotive engineering, and fluency in French and English in both written and oral forms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical support contact for the MG dealer network.
• Assist dealers with diagnostics, repair methods and the use of diagnostic tools.
• Manage and resolve technical support requests submitted by the network through the SNW technical support system.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and complex fault-finding on electrified vehicles (HEV, PHEV, BEV).
• Coordinate, escalate and report issues to the European Technical Support team.
• Provide occasional Aftersales support, including translating technical documentation and implementing new processes.
• Attend European technical training sessions and events as required.

Key Results/Accountabilities expected from the role

• Act as the primary technical support contact for the MG dealer network.
• Support dealers with complex diagnostics, repair methods and the use of diagnostic tools, in accordance with MG technical processes and manufacturer procedures.
• Manage and resolve technical support requests submitted by the network through the SNW technical support system.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and complex fault-finding on all types of electrified vehicles, including Hybrid (HEV), Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV).
• Ensure effective coordination, escalation and reporting of technical issues to the European Technical Support team.
• Provide occasional support to the Aftersales department, including the implementation of new processes, translation of technical documentation and other operational activities.
• Attend European technical training sessions and technical events as required.

Experience & Educational background & Expertise

• Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in automotive technical support
• Education/qualifications: Higher technical qualification, specialising in automotive engineering
• Proficiency in automotive mechanical, electrical and electronic systems
• B2TL certification
• Professional proficiency in French and English, both written and oral
• Driving licence
