D8 Solutions is seeking a Resident Quality Engineer for a client in Sandouville, France. The role focuses on managing customer complaints from receipt to resolution, analyzing defects, and implementing containment actions at the customer site.

You will coordinate with customers and internal teams, perform root cause analyses, and promote Six Sigma and other quality tools. The position may be freelance or full-time, with potential part-time arrangements depending on profile.

Formación

• Technical course or equivalent education.
• Advanced technical English.

Responsabilidades

• Manage customer complaints from receipt to resolution.
• Analyze and identify product defects.
• Assess non-conforming products at customer facilities.
• Develop and manage work instructions and specifications.
• Coordinate communication between end customer and company.
• Negotiate complaints with customers.
• Support other company customers as needed.
• Implement and monitor containment actions for issues.
• Analyze claimed products and initiate root cause analysis.
• Participate in follow-up and close-up meetings.
• Coordinate safe project launches with customers.
• Promote Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke, and MSA.
• Submit claimed samples to Project Management and the customer for analysis.
• Define acceptance criteria with boundary samples.
