Molex is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join its E/E Transformation Architecture team in France. You will apply CAD, GD&T, FEA, FMEA, and DVP&R practices to develop high-performance automotive connectors, collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentors to deliver designs on schedule.

You will drive concept development, validation planning, and analytical studies while selecting materials for injection molding and stamping.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience using analytical studies (FEA, tolerance stacks, DFMEA, etc.) as part of a product development process.
Experience developing validation plans and analysing test results to ensure a product meets performance requirements.
Ability to travel occasionally.

Responsabilités

Develop concepts that are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet customer needs.
Perform DFMEA/FEA, tolerance analysis and other analyses with guidance.
Create and maintain product models and GD&T drawings with proper datum selection.
Document project scope, requirements, feasibility, and work plans.
Develop DVP&R test plans and analyze results; perform DOE and Hypothesis Testing.
Lead root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone diagrams with senior guidance.
Select materials for plastic injection molding and metal stamping.
