Molex is seeking a Senior Mechanical Simulation Engineer: Structural in our Transportation and Industrial Solutions Division to drive structural performance validation for automotive connector applications using CAE tools. You will support the team with FEA, corrosion of design features, and virtual validation across product lines.

You will develop automated CAE scripts, run nonlinear durability and vibration simulations, and help improve simulation-to-test correlation.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience with FEA applications.
Experience with scripting and CAE workflow automation to build regression models.

Responsabilités

Coordinate and provide mechanical engineering analysis support, predominantly with FEA, on short fiber reinforced plastic & copper alloy components.
Work on nonlinear durability and linear vibration simulations.
Correlate CAE results with real-world performance and improve accuracy.
Develop scripts to automate CAE processes and improve efficiency.
Utilize ISIGHT/HyperStudy/Mode Frontier to automate CAE workflows and build regression models.
Communicate technical findings to peers, management, and customers.
Attend trainings and conferences to stay current with developments.
Travel as necessary.
