Molex, a leading connector supplier, seeks a Product Development Engineer to join the E/E Transformation Architecture team in France. You will apply engineering fundamentals to create high‑performance automotive connector designs, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions.

In this role you will use CAD, FEA, DFMEA, and DVP&R methods to shape concepts, validate designs, and drive quality.

Qualifications

• Design experience in mechanical products.
• Experience with analytical studies and product development.
• Ability to develop validation plans and analyze test results.
• Structured problem-solving to identify root causes.

Responsabilités

• Perform concept development ensuring manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct DFMEA, FEA, tolerance analysis and other studies under guidance.
• Create and maintain product models and drawings using GD&T.
• Document project scope, requirements, feasibility, and work plans.
• Develop DVP&R test plans and analyze results with statistics.
• Lead root cause analysis with senior guidance.
• Select materials for plastic and metal components.
