IXO seeks a candidate to craft AV production problems and test AI understanding of equipment, signal paths, and troubleshooting workflows. You will write questions, scenarios for lighting, camera operation, mixing, editing and live streaming, and explain fault diagnosis with evidence-based corrections.

Remote, asynchronous engagement with deliverables including scenario briefs, reference answers, and evaluation criteria.

Qualifications

Your work at IXO

Build audiovisual production problems for IXO that test whether an AI system understands equipment, signal paths and practical troubleshooting. Your reference answers will make the technical reasoning explicit.

Responsibilities

• Write questions and cases involving signal flow, equipment setup and microphone placement.


• Develop scenarios covering lighting, camera operation, mixing, editing and live streaming.


• Explain how to diagnose faults and verify that a proposed correction addresses the real problem.


• Evaluate model responses against production standards and document technical errors.


• Adjust task difficulty and clarity after review without removing the essential production challenge.

Required experience and preparation

A technical certificate or associate degree in audio/video production, broadcast technology or a related field is one route; equivalent professional experience is accepted. You need proven work in AV production, live-event support or broadcast operations, with a strong understanding of equipment and workflows. Precise analytical, written and verbal communication is required.

Preferred experience

Experience across live events, studio recording, broadcast, corporate AV or post-production is useful. CTS, Dante, AVIXA or related specialist training, technical teaching and familiarity with AI media tools are additional advantages.

Deliverables and engagement

Deliverables are scenario briefs, technically supported reference answers, evaluation criteria and model-response feedback. Work is remote and can be completed asynchronously to an agreed schedule.

Pay is $40 $80/hr in USD. IXO will agree the scope, deliverables and schedule before work begins.
