Virtuos Paris seeks an Associate Technical Animator / Rigger with 5+ years in game development. You’ll work alongside Lead Technical Animator to coordinate daily tasks while staying hands-on in rigging and animation in Unreal Engine.

Design and maintain rigs, implement animation systems, and collaborate with Animators, Tech Artists, and Engineers to deliver scalable solutions. Remote work is possible; relocation support offered; Virtuos values diversity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Technical Animation and Rigging within the video game industry.
• Hands-on experience implementing animation systems in Unreal Engine, including Animation Blueprints, State Machines, Blend Spaces, and Control Rig.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, MEL, or equivalent for pipeline automation.

Responsabilités

• Team Support & Coordination: Partner with the Lead Technical Animator to support day-to-day organization and execution of the team's work.
• Technical Animation & Rigging: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality rigs for characters, creatures, and props; implement and maintain animation systems in Unreal Engine.
